GENERAL RULES FOR GUESTS: 9. Promised Land will cater meals, or you have the option to bring in a caterer of your choice or provide your own meals. Retreat groups are responsible for supplying their own paper goods and food when meals are provided by someone other than Promised Land. 10. Retreat phone is available for LOCAL CALLS ONLY. 11. Each room is to have one adult staying in the room with any children or youth. 12. Guests need to bring linens or sleeping bag, pillow, towels, hygiene articles and flashlight. 13. Please help conserve energy and keep costs down by turning off lights, fans and heaters, and air conditioners when the room is not in use. 14. Do not move furniture or mattresses out of the building. 15. No alcohol, illegal drugs, or firearms are permitted on the camp grounds. Persons found possessing or using any of these items will be asked to leave the retreat area immediately by the Retreat Manager. 16. No pets, fireworks, radios, TVs, or other sound-producing equipment are allowed at camp. 17. Use of tobacco in any form is not permitted in any of the retreat buildings. 18. The use of motorcycles, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, jeeps or any other recreational vehicles are not allowed on the retreat grounds. NO EXCEPTIONS 19. The practice of "activities" such as misuse of shaving cream or toilet paper or having room raids will not be tolerated. Leadership of the group will be held responsible for such activities. 20. Any breakage or damage to buildings, equipment and facilities will be paid for by the person(s) or group using the retreat, with the cost being determined by the Retreat Mgr. 21. All groups are asked to sweep out their rooms and empty all trash baskets before leaving. All trash is to be bagged and dropped in the metal barrels in front of the garage on the east road of the property as you leave. All trash, cups, paper, etc., is to be picked up off the grounds. A charge will be made for rooms that are left dirty. The person in charge must check the facility with the Retreat Mgr. prior to check out.
